In the fall of 2020, after years of prayer and outreach efforts to the east Fort Worth community, Central Bible Church began to design and implement a food pantry ministry. Statistically, east Fort Worth ranks above the national average for food insecurity and there were few solutions within the area. The design of the ministry included extensive research of other effective food pantries in the region, and the vision of the Central Storehouse began to take shape.
Central Bible Church not only wanted to bless their community with a solution for food insecurity, but they wanted to focus on strategically creating a place for the church body and beyond to practically achieve the mission of CBC. That mission is to make God known, by making disciples, who are changed by God, to change their world. This mission of CBC has been a driving influence in the design of the Central Storehouse.
